The Selah app is built with privacy as a core principle. We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the app.
All data generated by your use of the app—including your specific journal entries, bookmarked verses, notes, and game progress—is stored locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to us or any third-party clouds.
Notifications: The app may request permission to send local notifications (reminders) to encourage you to read the daily verse. These are scheduled locally on your device; no remote servers are involved.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) solely to monitor basic visitor statistics and popular pages for selahdaily.co.za. This helps us understand project growth.
We may use local storage in your browser solely to remember your display preferences (such as Light or Dark mode) to improve your experience.
Our website may contain links to third-party payment providers (such as PayFast or PayPal) for voluntary support. If you choose to follow these links, any payment information you provide is processed entirely by those secure third-party providers. Selah does not view, collect, or store your payment information.
Selah does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not collect personal data at all, it is safe for users of all ages.
