This Privacy Policy applies to the Selah mobile application (iOS and Android) and the Selah website (selahdaily.co.za).
To provide a personalized experience and cross-device synchronization, Selah offers account creation. When you create an account, we collect your email address. This is used solely for authentication and to associate your data with your account.
Selah uses Supabase (a secure third-party database provider) to synchronize your data—including journal entries, bookmarked verses, and notes—across your devices. By using these features, your data is securely transmitted to and stored on Supabase servers. We do not sell or share your personal data with any other third parties.
Notifications: The app may request permission to send local notifications (reminders) to encourage you to read the daily verse. These are scheduled locally on your device.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) solely to monitor basic visitor statistics and popular pages for selahdaily.co.za. This helps us understand project growth.
We may use local storage in your browser solely to remember your display preferences (such as Light or Dark mode) to improve your experience.
Our website may contain links to third-party payment providers (such as PayFast or PayPal) for voluntary support. If you choose to follow these links, any payment information you provide is processed entirely by those secure third-party providers. Selah does not view, collect, or store your payment information.
Selah does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not collect personal data at all, it is safe for users of all ages.
